How do I change my system language in Recruitment?

In Simployer One Recruitment, your System language controls the language of your Recruitment interface and communication. You set it in your personal preferences.

  1. Go to Recruitment > Settings > Personal > My preferences.
  2. Find System language.
  3. Select the language you want to use.
  4. Save your changes.

Your Recruitment interface and communication now use the selected language.

Note: Changing your System language in Recruitment doesn’t change which languages candidates can use. To manage candidate languages, go to Recruitment > Settings > Company > Language configuration.

What decides the language of the career page, job adverts and iFrames in Recruitment?

In Simployer One Recruitment, the career page, job adverts and iFrames follow the system commands and the System language of the person set as Owner.

The text you write yourself, such as the content of a job advert, isn’t translated. It stays in the language you wrote it in, whatever the Owner’s System language is.

Why does my Recruitment career page, job advert or iFrame show the wrong language?

The career page, job adverts and iFrames in Simployer One Recruitment follow the System language of the person set as Owner. If they show the wrong language, check that person’s System language:

  1. The person set as Owner goes to Recruitment > Settings > Personal > My preferences.
  2. They check System language and select the correct language again.
  3. They save the changes.
  4. Refresh the page.
  5. If the language still hasn’t changed, log out of Simployer One and log in again.

If the career page, job advert or iFrame still shows the wrong language, contact Simployer support.

Note: Text written in a job advert stays in the language it was written in. Changing the System language doesn’t translate it.

How do I choose which languages are available to candidates in Recruitment?

In Simployer One Recruitment, candidates can choose their preferred language from the languages your company makes available. You set this in the company’s Language configuration.

  1. Go to Recruitment > Settings > Company > Language configuration.
  2. Find Available system languages.
  3. Select the languages you want to make available to candidates.

Candidates can now choose any of the selected languages.

Note: The Available system languages setting is separate from each user’s personal System language. Changing your own System language doesn’t change which languages candidates can choose.
