Simployer One sends reminders to submit your timesheet on a set schedule:
- First reminder: Sent on the last workday before the end date of the reporting period.
- Second reminder: Sent the day before the cut-off date.
- Third reminder: Sent the morning of the cut-off date.
All settings in a Timesheet policy, including the "Timesheet Cut-off time," are set in calendar days, not workdays. For example, setting the "Timesheet Cut-off time" to 2 days means the cut-off date falls 2 calendar days after the end of the reporting period. Depending on whether your timesheet is weekly or monthly, this can land on a Tuesday (for a weekly timesheet) or the 2nd day of the following month (for a monthly timesheet).
Example: Weekly timesheet, cut-off set to 2 days
For a weekly timesheet with the "Timesheet Cut-off time" set to 2 days (cut-off on the Tuesday of the following week):
- First reminder: Friday of the week being reported.
- Second reminder: Monday of the following week.
- Third reminder: Morning of Tuesday.
Example: Monthly timesheet, cut-off set to 2 days
For a monthly timesheet with the "Timesheet Cut-off time" set to 2 days (cut-off on the 2nd of the following month):
- First reminder: Last working day of the month being reported.
- Second reminder: 1st day of the following month.
- Third reminder: Morning of the 2nd day of the following month.
