What happens
You land on Review. This dry run uses the exact snapshot from Fetch data, so what you see here is precisely what will be written — nothing is saved yet.
Before running the preview, the wizard checks tenant readiness. Once ready, select Run preview to simulate the full migration against your snapshot. You'll see creates, updates, and skips per entity, with no writes made.
When it finishes, you'll see Preview complete. Review the numbers, then select Continue to migration to move to Migrate.
Tip: Select View skip and failure reasons for this preview to see exactly why any record was skipped or would fail — see "Understanding skip and failure reasons in migration reports" for what each reason means.
If you run into a problem
This preview can also be blocked or interrupted by issues that need their own explanation:
- Some sync types have setup issues — see Preflight blockers and tenant setup.
- Some records are blocked by email conflicts — see Email conflicts during the preview.
- The preview stopped, was cancelled, or halted partway through — see Dry-run preview problems (halted, failed, cancelled).
